We provide a range of academic support resources to help you be successful!

Includes drop-in tutoring through the Math and Science Tutoring Center and the Computing Success Center. Tutoring by appointment is available for different subjects and through the Writing Center.

SI PASS sessions are regularly-scheduled, informal review sessions in which students compare notes, discuss readings, develop organizational tools, and predict test items.

EDUC 113 and EDUC 114 help support students to succeed at UMBC and in life by cultivating study skills, critical thinking skills, public speaking, and writing skills.

Academic Skills Meetings help you identify issues in your academic life and show you how to leverage your strengths and be successful.

The Math Placement Test is required for many Math and Science courses at UMBC. All testing is conducted online.
